| Description: | We are creating community through movement in all its forms! |
Our mission is to offer a wide variety of affordable and high-quality dance and fitness instruction in a community setting that is rich with opportunity and inspiration.
We believe it is smart and sound business practice to pay close attention to the bottom-line. In fact, we know that the financial gains of owning a business can often be the primary goal in its very creation. Thus, it comes as no surprise, that giving the bottom-line top priority in the running and direction of a business is the status quo all around the world today. However, as a company that is committed to excellence over the status quo and was created with the founding interest of having a positive global impact, World Rhythms was designed with a new order of priorities; we have a salient commitment to achieving a triple bottom-line in everything we do.
We are not only concerned with the financial health of the business and its sustainability, we are equally attentive to the non-monetary benefits we can render from having a successful business and sharing them beyond the company and its employees. The second and third bottom-line in this case are the greater impact we can have on society, our communities and the people within them as well as maintaining and encouraging stewardship of our environment.
Therefore, all WR policies, programs, and company activities give equal priority to their effectiveness, not only financially, but in these two additional areas as well. In other words, any policies, programs and company activities that fail to prove gains in all three areas don’t make the WR team.
This is why we are committed to being a Green business and having partnerships with others that have similar standards. WR’s commitment to a triple bottom-line is also reflected in our relationship to the communities in which we are located. Our innovative volunteering program, many community-focused events and devotion to thriving non-profit programs that provide children, teens and seniors access to all of the resources and quality experties of the WR, are just a few examples. Lastly, we use day to day business as the opportunity to bring an experience of excellence and ones own ability to make an astounding contribution to all those we come in contact with, whether it be an employee, member or neighbor!
We expect no less of ourselves and this is what you can expect from us.
